Edge Energy Named Finalist in NYC Clean Construction Innovation Pilot

New York, NY – Edge Energy, a leading innovator in electric construction equipment charging infrastructure solutions, has been selected as a finalist in the NYC Clean Construction Innovation Pilot, an ambitious initiative spearheaded by the Mayor’s Office of Climate & Environmental Justice (MOCEJ) and the Office of Technology and Innovation (OTI). This groundbreaking program aims to test and advance the use of electric construction equipment in city-run projects, supporting New York City’s commitment to achieving zero-emission construction sites by 2030.

Launched in early 2025, the NYC Clean Construction Innovation Pilot invited manufacturers and suppliers of light, medium, and heavy duty electric construction equipment to submit their cutting-edge products and charging solutions for a 2-6 month trial period at no cost to the city. 

Edge Energy’s selection as a finalist highlights its role in driving the transition to cleaner, quieter, and more sustainable construction practices..
