EdgeEnergy™ Announces Vice President of Technology


(Cincinnati, OH) – Fast growing EV Charging Infrastructure Company, EdgeEnergy has announced Dale Friesen as their new Vice President of Technology. Experienced Professional Engineer with more than 25 years of technical and management experience in Demand-Side Management and Customer Engagement. Past experience includes extensive engagement with customers at the intersection of technology and business, supporting the adoption of new and innovative technologies advancing the efficiency, productivity and economy of energy consumption within homes and businesses.


Dale comes to EdgeEnergy with decades of experience at Manitoba Hydro, one of Canada’s largest electric utility providers, which included director-level responsibility for programming and technical resources deployed to advance the efficient use of energy and customer engagement. Dale has a broad understanding and knowledge of energy utilization advanced through more than 25 years spent actively participating in efforts to advance the development and adoption of energy performance codes and standards provides a strong basis on which to support objectives aimed at improved energy efficiency and sustainability. Dale also serves as the Chair of CSA Group's Strategic Committee for Performance, Energy Efficiency and Renewables (SCOPEER), which holds responsibility for the development of energy performance standards recognized as National Standards of Canada for energy-consuming equipment and buildings.
